Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Overview
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit aaronjaylev.com (the "Site"), how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is a personal resume and portfolio operated by Aaron Jay Lev. It has no user accounts and no contact forms.
Information We Collect
- Analytics data. Google Analytics records information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Email correspondence. If you email me, I receive your address and whatever you include in the message.
The Site does not collect payment information, and it does not ask you to create an account or submit personal details.
How We Use Information
- To understand how visitors use the Site so it can be improved.
- To reply to messages you send me about my work or opportunities.
I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics (Google tag ID G-6H8RKFXRHP) to measure traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visitors apart. You can limit or delete these cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
To learn how Google handles the data it collects, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics and Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, so your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.
- Hosting provider. The Site is hosted on a web hosting service that keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses.
- External links. The Site links to LinkedIn, X, GitHub, and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which I do not control.
Data Retention
Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics. Emails are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our correspondence.
Your Choices and Rights
You can disable cookies, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or stop visiting the Site at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information I hold about you. To make a request, email me at the address below.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed.
